Our Principles
Quality. We believe in internal peer review. We frequently program in pairs and review each others work. This helps keep us focused and on track.
Testing. We believe in testing. If its not tested, it probably doesn't work as intended!
Creativity. We encourage our engineers to discover and use the tools of their choice and realize their visions in code!
Openness. We believe in the "fish bowl development process" whereby we keep our staff, clients and partners fully in the loop.
Best practice plus. We adopt and then extend the best practices of the domain we're working in.
Rapid Application Development. We like to get feedback early. That means we produce prototypes ASAP that the client or testers can critique.
Open Source. We're big fans of open source software. But Oracle is pretty damn good and MS Terminal Services is not bad either.
Code Markup. Let the code tell its story. The code should be self documenting.
High quality processes (source code control, peer review, testing, good communication, collaboration and being open to feedback) lead to high quality software.
In short, we're Pragmatic programmers and sometimes a little Extreme!
